Access Bars ®
A non invasive and gentle treatment on the head suitable for people of all ages, including children
What is Access Bars ?
Access Bars® is a quiet pause in a busy world — a gentle, hands-on practice using light touch on 32 points of the head to help your mind soften and your body unwind.
As these points are held, thoughts begin to loosen, the breath deepens, and a sense of calm often rises naturally.
What happens in the therapy session?
You simply lie back, fully clothed, and allow yourself to rest.
There is nothing to do, nothing to think about, nothing to achieve.
Just space. Just stillness. Just you.
A typical Access Bars® session lasts between 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the client’s needs and the depth of the process during the therapy.
Does Access Bars really work?
Access bars is a scientifically proven therapy for reducing stress, depression, ADHD, addiction, trauma, PTSD, anxiety and many more emotional, mental and physical issues. As per the study conducted by Dr. Terri Hope, published in the Journal of Energy Psychology in 2017, a 1.5 hours session of Access Bars substantially decreased the severity of depression and anxiety in the studied clients.
Access Bars® therapy can improve mental clarity, reduce anxiety, enhance creativity, promote deep relaxation, and help you feel more peaceful and present.
What are the benefits?
Many people leave feeling lighter, clearer, or more at ease — as if they’ve reset something deep within themselves.
Sometimes the change is subtle, sometimes profound, but always uniquely your own.
Access Bars® offers a moment to return to your centre, to feel supported, and to gently let go of what no longer serves you.
Are there side effects or contradictions?
• If someone has recently experienced a head injury, concussion, or surgery, it’s best to wait until they’re fully cleared and comfortable.
• Those with epilepsy can usually receive Bars, though sessions are often kept very gentle and easeful.
• Pregnancy is typically fine — comfort, positioning, and support simply come first.
• For anyone navigating intense mental health challenges, Bars can be a soothing complement, but never a replacement for professional care.
• If someone is sensitive to touch or finds physical contact overwhelming, the session can be adapted — or paused — to honour their comfort.
How often should I have it?
Many people feel immediate relief after just one session, while deeper, lasting changes are often noticed after 3–5 sessions. It’s recommended to have ongoing sessions throughout the year for life changing experiences.
Sessions have a sliding scale of £55 - £75 depending on time 45-90 mins.
