ON-SITE CHAIR MASSAGE FOR OFFICES
On-site massage is an oil free, fully clothed upper body massage performed in a portable special massage treatment chair. The massage recipient sit face forward during their massage which usually lasts 10 to 15 minutes.

A chair massage can be tailored from 10 to 30 minutes, the targeted muscle groups that are addressed are; the head, the neck, the shoulders, the back, the arms and the hands. The therapist undertakes specialist professional training in “on-site chair massage” and we will use a fusion of different massage techniques to aid in pain and stress relief.

CORPORATE MINDFULNESS MEDITATION
What is it?
Meditation is a state of consciousness that is totally different from the normal waking state and generally generates gamma or alpha brain waves. Gamma brainwaves pass information rapidly and quietly. The most subtle of the brainwave frequencies, the mind has to be quiet to access gamma. It is speculated that gamma rhythms modulate perception and consciousness, and that a greater presence of gamma relates to expanded consciousness and spiritual emergence. Meditation is not a religion, it is a science, which means that the process of meditation follows a particular order, has definite principles, and produces results that can be verified.

In meditation one can become relaxed, have clarity and focus inward. During meditation you are awake and conscious but not focused on the external reality and environment around you. Meditation requires an inner state that is still, a detachment from the mind creates silence and being present. When the mind continues to be silent and no longer distracts you, meditation can deepen.
 How to do it?

In a corporate environment we chose to sit in an upright chair, with back straight and eyes closed. A meditation facilitator will start to guide you into a state of deep relaxation, using visual techniques and bringing your awareness to the breath. There is a continuing method throughout the process to the breathing and placing the meditator in the present that the facilitator guides you through and encourages a deeper state of oneness.

Why do it?

The main benefits of practicing mindfulness meditation is to improve emotional control as well as improve focus. It has been noted that it may lower blood pressure and decrease cortisol levels, these studies have shown that preforming regular mindful thought and meditation may produce these responses. To say the least it’s defiantly a stress reducer.

FAQs
Do you provide the equipment?
YES - we provide all the equipment and supplies needed for on-site massage.
NO - not for the yoga and mindfulness sessions. You supply the chairs and an unused room for the mindfulness session and for the yoga an unused room with fitness mats.
Do I need to wear special clothing for the massage?
No, as the on-site chair massage is conducted fully clothed
Do I have to book ahead of time before the sessions or day? 
No you can just turn up and receive on site massage or attend a class with permission from your team leader or supervisor.
Can I have a treatment or attend a class when I feel physically ill?
No, it’s not a good idea to have treatments or attend classes as this could worsen your illness and pass it on to the practitioner/ teacher and other attendees.
Can I have a treatment or attend a class when I feel mentally or emotionally unwell?
Yes, this is greatly beneficial for you and hopefully will give clarity to the situation.
Can I ask for the treatment to stop or leave the class if I don’t like it?
Yes, most definitely and I encourage clients to give feedback throughout if necessary.
Can I get ill from receiving a massage or attending a class?
Yes, it’s possible if other people around you in the class are unwell and if you have some underlying problem it could worsen as a result
